July 12, 2017

PRESENT:  Chairman Bill Verbeten, Supervisor Jesse Juedes, Supervisor Ron Diny, and Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Jeanette Roskom.    Also present were Steve Zeitler, Brian Roebke, Joe DeCleene, Ed Byrne, Aaron Robertson, Jay Graetz, and Chris Schlies.

7:25 p.m.  Public hearing called to order by Chairman Verbeten.

PURPOSE:  Review a request from Joe DeCleene to rezone 4 acres from Ex-Ag to Ag-Res, Parcel W-295, Ledgetop Drive.

Verbeten informs there was no opposition when reviewed by the Planning Commission.

No comments from the public at this time.

7:32 p.m.  Motion by Juedes and second by Diny to Adjourn.  MC.

TOWNBOARD                                                                                                                                                                                                   July 12, 2017

PRESENT:  Chairman Bill Verbeten, Supervisor Jesse Juedes, Supervisor Ron Diny, and Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Jeanette Roskom.   Also present were Steve Zeitler, Brian Roebke, Joe DeCleene, Ed Byrne, Aaron Robertson, Jay Graetz, and Chris Schlies.

7:30 p.m. Meeting called to order by Chairman Verbeten. 

Agenda:  Motion by Juedes and second by Diny to approve agenda.  MC

Minutes:  Motion by Juedes and second by Diny to dispense with the reading of June minutes.  MC 

Motion by Juedes and second by Diny to approve all June meeting minutes as presented in writing to Board.  MC

Treasurer’s Report:  Jeanette presents report for June.  Motion by Juedes and second by Diny to approve treasurer’s report.  MC

Vouchers:  Jeanette presents vouchers 11334 through 11357 plus tax liability for a total of $59,808.07.  Motion by Juedes and second by Diny to approve vouchers. MC

Planning Commission:  Bill Verbeten reports the Planning commission met on Monday July 10 to:

1)      Review a request from Joe DeCleene to rezone 4 acres from Ex-Ag to Ag-Res on Parcel W-295.  Unanimous approval by the Planning Commission

2)      Certified survey maps were approved for Parcel W-281 and Parcel W-295.

3)      No discussion had on comprehensive plan

DeCleene Rezone:  Verbeten informs this request was unanimously approved at the Planning Commission meeting and that there were no public comments at the public hearing earlier held.  Motion by Juedes and second by Diny to approve request to rezone 4 acres from Ex-Ag to Ag-Res, Parcel W-295, Ledgetop Drive.  Ayes 3   Nays 0   Motion carried.

Certified Survey Maps:

Motion by Juedes and second by Diny to approve certified survey map for Joe DeCleene, part of the SE-NE, Sec4, T21N, R20E, Ledgetop Drive, Parcel W-295.  Ayes 3  Nays 0  Motion carried.

Motion by Juedes and second by Diny to approve certified survey map for Aaron Robertson and Bob Lamers, part of NE-NW, Sec 21N, R19E, on County Rd. D, Parcel W-53-1.   Ayes 3   Nays 0   Motion carried.

Sanitary District #2 - Pond:  Commissioner Bloomer was not in attendance at the meeting.  Bill will contact Dave to suggest Sanitary District #2 apply for a grant/loan.  Bloomer should also contact the County and the DNR to see what may be available.  The town could possibly put special assessments on that land/parcels to offset grant or loan.  Table matter to August for Commissioner Bloomer to report to the Town on findings. 

Sanitary District #2 – Road:  Bill is having the area surveyed to determine where the road was designed to go that was built to access the pond.  Bill will contact American Surveyors for this project.

Mallard Rd:  Presently waiting on Robert E. Lee to get an estimate and weigh options for bridge replacement

Heart Assn Fundraiser:  Ron will contact Brown County and Rebecca VanLannen and regarding closing Klaus St from Greenleaf St to Highway 96.  Motion by Diny and second by Juedes to table matter.  Motion carried.

Correspondence:

1)      Mfr fees are at $13/tn.

2)      Note from Port and Solid waste regarding proper recycling

3)      Email regarding issues with road work on School Rd.  Scott Construction has been notified and will be fixing it.

4)      Greenleaf Roundabout – DOT has contracted Brown County Highway to maintain.  Town can take over same but would need to enter into Perpetual Agreement for this responsibility.  Other options are being considered.

 

Motion by Diny and second by Juedes to adjourn.  Motion carried.
