SPECIAL MEETING – TOWN BOARD

February 21, 2012 

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Town Board of the Town of Wrightstown, Brown County, Wisconsin, will hold a special meeting in the Town Hall in Greenleaf on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at 6:30 p.m.  Agendas will be posted in Greenleaf at the Town Hall, Greenleaf Wayside Bank, Agri-Partners and Dick’s Family Foods in Wrightstown and also at www.townofwrightstown.org. 

            Any person wishing to attend whom, because of disability, requires special accommodations, contact the town clerk, at 6578 Ledgetop Drive, Greenleaf, WI 54126, (920) 864-7927, by 2 P.M. the Monday prior to the meeting so that arrangements can be made. 

1. The purpose of the meeting is to allow Town of Wrightstown residents who are receiving or would like to receive Farmland preservation tax credits to let the Town Board know of their concern.  New law allows agriculture landowners with more or less than 35 acres to qualify for tax credits.  The deadline for having your property included or excluded as exclusive agriculture district is March 8, 2012. 
2. Discuss and possible action that the Board consider or adopt a resolution requesting the state hold hearings to discuss additional scientific studies to better determine health and safety issues for knowledge and information on both sides of wind siting.
